According to the report called “Natural and Organic Food Market: 2015-2019”, published by Research and Markets, the U.S. now dominates the global organic market, contributing almost 50 per cent to the global market share. It is expected that the natural food segment will dominate the natural and organic food market in the U.S. during 2015-2019—mainly due to the number of private labels and a rising number of natural food retail outlets.
Natural and organic food stores in the U.S. include not only vendors, but also mass-market stores and retailers, such as Wal-Mart and Costco that now offer a vast choice of organic products.
