According to various media reports, Kroger, America’s largest supermarket chain, is taking steps to acquire Fresh Markets, a U.S. specialty grocer.
According to Reuters, Kroger is in the second stage of an auction process which involves Kroger and other interested parties.
Currently, Kroger are not making any comments about the possible acquisition.
