Health Canada has seized three products from the Mississauga health retailer located on Burnhamthorpe Road West.
Sport X Ephedrine, Promatrix DHEA 25mg and DHEA 25mg have been taken off the shelves of the store. DHEA is a controlled drug that increases levels of the female and male hormones in the body, raising the risk of prostate, breast, ovarian and other hormone-sensitive cancers.

Use of these products is not recommended for those with heart problems, hypertension, thyroid disease, diabetes, enlarged prostate, anxiety and restlessness, galucoma and pheochromocytoma.
The government agency warns those who have recently used any or a combination of these recalled medications to consult their doctor.
Health Canada also encourages consumers to come forward and report any other retailers selling any or all of these products.
