The Charlottetown Guardian just featured a story of sweet success for a local natural health product manufacturer Island Abbey Foods.
Six years ago, the company introduced the world’s first 100 per cent pure solid honey lozenge – the Honeydrop.
Now their new line of Honibe gummy multivitamins for adults and kids are rolling out province-wide through Murphy’s Pharmacies.
“Staying true to our promise, pure Canadian honey is the number one ingredient in our honey gummy vitamins, thus cutting refined sugar by 50 per cent versus leading brands,’’ says Island Abbey founder and CEO John Rowe.
The company gave away free samples during the launch at Murphy’s Pharmacies Parkdale and gave consumers a chance to enter to win a year’s supply.

Island Abbey Foods promises that “Honibe honey is sourced from 100 per cent Canadian Grade A honey from P.E.I. and Canadian beekeepers.”
